Meet our featured artist Louie Castro, who is a 31-year-old musician from Spring Valley, New York. He now lives in Long Island, New York. He first started making music when he was 18 years old when he was first introduced to Tony Yayo of G-Unit and also had a passion for writing and singing songs.

STYLE

His genre of music is very much his own but it could be identified as a mix of urban, R&B, pop, and reggae music.

His most successful song is “PGH”(People Gon Hate) featuring Reek Da Villain. It got featured on the Source and top blogs which resulted in an official Louie Castro Vevo account.

INSPIRATION

His main inspirations are Michael Jackson and Prince. He also is influenced by K-Ci and JoJo, and Brian McKnight.

Louie Castro’s first studio recording was done at Lloyd Bank’s personal booth at his home studio called the “Green Room” which also was accompanied by Tony Yayo. Moreover, his first mixtape was hosted by Dj Magic of Hot97fm in New York.
