King David- New Artist

Meet our featured artist King David, who is a 32-year-old musician from St. Louis, Missouri. He first started making music when he was in a middle school talent show when he discovered he could make the crowd go crazy. Since then, he has been making music off and on but has recently developed a stronger passion for it during Covid. He states that 2020 was the year where he could focus on his music with all the time that he had.

STYLE

His genre of music is R&B but he also does a mix of pop and hip-hop as well. He tries to be as versatile as he can and the genre of music he makes just depends on the beat he wants to create.

King David is a new artist so he states that if he did perform out of town, his song “Did you wrong” would be the one to be most successful.

INSPIRATION

His main inspiration was an artist we lost in 2020, Mo3. He also admires Edge, Chris Brown, Tank, Jaime Fox, and many more.

King David has his own business in St. Louis which takes up a lot of time but he still has a strong passion for creating music. His entire family on his dad’s side are all musically gifted. They were the ones who named him King David after King David in the bible. He recently found out that King David first got his fame from music so it fits perfectly for his purpose of wanting to share his music with the world.
